The lecture will begin at 4:30 in the Walter Amphitheater, Tosteson Medical Education Center, 260 Longwood Avenue, Boston. It is free and open to the public.<br><!--break--><br><a href="http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~phildept/sen.html" target="_blank">Amartya Sen</a> is the Thomas W. Lamont University Professor and Professor of Economics and Philosophy at Harvard University. He was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 1998 for his work in welfare economics and is known for his work related to economic development and social justice.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">Roger Allan Moore was an attorney who helped to found the Harvard Community Health Plan. With an endowment from his associates, Harvard Medical School established the <a href="http://ghsm.hms.harvard.edu/education/lectures-and-workshops#roger">Roger Allan Moore Lecture on Values and Medicine: Ethical, Religious, and Cultural Perspectives</a> in 1992.<br><br></span></p><p><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;"> </span></p></div>
