By means of a diachronic perspective, the exhibit narrative cuts through the multiplicity of anatomical practices, presenting three important moments in the history of anatomy: sixteenth century dissections and anatomical drawings, nineteenth century anatomical practices, and contemporary use of both cadavers and digital technology for anatomic education. "<strong>Body of Knowledge</strong>" hopes to capture the complexity of the many people, places, and meanings involved in human dissection.</span></p><p style="margin-top: 0;"><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">"<strong>Body of Knowledge</strong>" in the Media</span><br><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="style101"><a href="https://www.countway.harvard.edu/menuNavigation/chom/exhibit.html" target="_blank">Getting Ready for Their Closeup</a>, Countway Library of Medicine News Online<br> "<a href="http://hms.harvard.edu/news/head-class-11-21-13" target="_blank">Head of the Class</a>," Harvard Medical School News Online</span><br><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> "<a href="http://www.thecrimson.com/article/2014/3/7/history-of-science-anatomy-exhibit/" target="_blank">New Exhibit Explores History and Science of Human Dissection</a>," Harvard Crimson, 3/7/2014</span><br><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> "<a href="http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2014/03/human-anatomy/" target="_blank">Exquisite, Disturbing Objects From 500 Years of Human Anatomical Science</a>," WIRED Magazine, 3/10/20134</span><br><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> "<a href="http://boingboing.net/2014/03/11/medical-curiosities-in-new-har.html" target="_blank">Medical curiosities in new Harvard Museums exhibit</a>," boingboing.net, 3/11/014</span><br><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> "<a href="http://harvardmagazine.com/2014/03/bodies-of-knowledge" target="_blank">Bodies of Knowledge</a>," Campus News, Harvard Magazine Online, 3/14/2014</span><br><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> "<a href="http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2014/04/body-exhibit/" target="_blank">Body Exhibit</a>," Harvard Gazette, 4/24/2014</span></p><p style="margin-top: 0;"><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">"<strong>Body of Knowledge</strong>" Related Links</span><br><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://www.countway.harvard.edu/menuNavigation/chom/warren.html" data-url="https://www.countway.harvard.edu/menuNavigation/chom/warren.html">Warren Anatomical Museum</a>, Countway Library, Harvard Medical School</span><br><span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="style101">Submissions for "Body of Knowledge..." from the <a href="http://collections.countway.harvard.edu/onview/exhibits/show/body-of-knowledge--a-history-o">Center of the History of Medicine, Harvard Medical School</a>.<br> View an annotated digital volume of the '<a href="http://archive.nlm.nih.gov/proj/ttp/flash/vesalius/vesalius.html" target="_blank">De Humani Corporis Fabrica' by Andreas Vesalius online</a>.<br> Read a contemporary account of the <a href="http://chsi.harvard.edu/documents/tewksinvestcommittee.pdf">Tewksbury Almshouse Scandal</a>.<br><br><strong>Sponsored by</strong><br>The David P.
